Dear Chuck,
With regrets for the tardiness of this letter, please accept my sincere thanks for another outstanding performance by the fine professionals of DYONYX and ATS. Over the Memorial Day weekend this group managed to move every aspect of the infrastructure of our entire agency from our former facility on Wilson Boulevard in Arlington to our brand new headquarters in Washington DC. Amazingly, not only was this feat achieved without one single nanosecond of remote network access downtime but even though the overall move began midday Friday June 27 all the internal building systems were online by Saturday morning. Considering we had a quarterly board meeting scheduled for the following week, we had a lot of very happy people who were able to keep working and meet all their deadlines.
I want to recognize Larry White for all his strategic assistance and working with the various vendors on this project (which required a great deal of patience and fortitude), Andrew Monaghan for excellent detail level planning as well as tactical and overall management of all the moving pieces and parts, David Escalante for expert design and implementation of our new network topology that allows for better service and support and isolates us from building based emergencies, not to mention Abu Baba, Bernard Sanders and Clyde Staughn for the extraordinary effort in uninstalling and reinstalling all the various sytem components from one building to the other in the shortest time possible and their ongoing efforts to keep our environment stable and our customers happy. In addition, I want to recognize the extra hands brought in to assist this great group, a wonderful team effort all around.
I thought I'd received an impressive number of positive comments from our staff back in December when this same core team implemented MCCnet, but this time around the outpouring of congratulatory and appreciation messages has been a veritable flood. I have been and am happy to continue to act as a reference for you. MCC's association with DYONYX and ATS has certainly added great value to our agency and I look forward to our continuing association. Thanks again.
