Texas Secretary of State, Roger Williams, honors DYONYX Tenth Anniversary with Visit to Company Headquarters
Houston, Texas, August 9, 2006 - DYONYX was honored today with a visit from the Texas Secretary of State, Roger Williams. Mr. Williams is aggressively working with Governor Perry to promote economic development, investment and job creation in Texas. As a result of DYONYX’s accomplishments with Homeland Security and Division of Immigration Health Services, Mr. Williams wanted to personally recognize DYONYX for Texas job creation and our patriotic duty of helping to protect our nation’s borders and ports. As the number two man in charge of Texas, we are extremely honored and incredibly fortunate to have a dignitary of his stature visit with us.
DYONYX currently provides high technology support of the Department of Homeland Security’s US-VISIT Exit program, created by DHS after September 11 to monitor foreign visitors presently at seventeen US airport and seaport locations. Additionally, DYONYX provides all IT support services for all twenty two facilities of the Division of Immigration Health Services (DIHS), the Health Resources and Services Administration agency that manages the health care for INS detainees. DYONYX also provides security centric IT support services for numerous city government customers throughout Texas, including Houston, Dallas/Ft Worth, San Antonio and others.
As the Chief Liaison to Mexico and the Border Region of Texas, Secretary Williams is working on behalf of the Governor and his administration on issues affecting Texas, Mexico and the border region. Governor Perry has made economic development a priority for his administration and Secretary Williams is joining the effort to bring new businesses to Texas and keep businesses in Texas. As a businessman, Secretary Williams understands that new businesses in Texas mean new opportunities for Texans.
