State of Texas Department of Information Resources Awards DYONYX IT Staff Augmentation Contract


Houston, Texas, August 14, 2006 - DYONYX has been awarded an Information Technology Staff Augmentation Contract (ITSAC) with the Department of Information Resources (DIR) to provide program management, business analysts, development, desk top and network support services to Texas based state, local and education agencies throughout the state.

According to the DIR, Texas agencies spend over $50 million annually on these services. This two year (plus one option year) contract vehicle provides a way to "pre-approve" select vendors and their HUB partners and ceiling rates in a broad range of IT categories to assist all state agency customers in streamlining their procurement process.

DYONYX was awarded the contract to provide services in ALL 127 labor categories. According to CEO Fred Pratt, "this contract vehicle broadens our base of potential customers in our great state, and complements our growing federal and local government practice areas perfectly. We are proud to be on this exclusive list of preferred vendor partners."

DYONYX currently provides a broad range of security and IT support services to federal customers that include Dept. of Homeland Security, Division of Immigration Health Services, Corpus Christi Army Depot and the Millinnium Challenge Corporation, as well as State of Texas Childrens Advocacy Centers and the cities of Houston, Dallas, Ft. Worth and San Antonio.
