DYONYX Awarded Major Enterprise-Wide Migration Project by City of Houston

The City of Houston has awarded a multi-million dollar project to DYONYX to help them upgrade their core Microsoft server infrastructure including Active Directory across all twenty-three departments and Exchange for all fourteen-thousand email users at the City. For this project, DYONYX will use their experienced project management and technical team to provide a complete Enterprise Windows 2003 Active Directory and Exchange 2007 design, plan and migration, along with documentation and training in support of the City’s mission to implement a secure and robust solution to support its 14,000+ internal and external customers.

DYONYX was selected from a competitive procurement process that included IBM Global Services, Unisys, HP and roughly ten other service providers. This enterprise project marks the second major project awarded to DYONYX at this municipal customer. DYONYX is also currently the prime contractor for the Network Implementation Project (NIP), a multi-year, multi-threaded project involving the complete refresh of over 2,000 network devices in 400 locations across all 23 departments.
