DYONYX Awarded Contract by a Leading
Housing Authority for Gap Analysis and Strategic IT
Assessment

September 1, 2011 - A housing authority for one of the largest cities in Texas has contracted with DYONYX to perform a Gap Analysis and Strategic IT Assessment for a coplex business model that requires a high degree of fiscal and regulatory complexity and therefore, reliable and responsive IT systems. In an effort to ensure the systems remain reliable and improve the level of service it offers its clients, the Housing Authority requires a management assessment of the major areas of functional responsibility comparing the gaps between the existing delivery model and systems in place today to the delivery capability executive management desires. IT infrastructure will be reviewed and assessed to ensure a robust set of information system infrastructures are in place to support continued growth. These infrastructures, which include hardware archirecture, application system architecture, network architecture, and supporting organizational resources, need to incorporate appropriate technology, integrated design concepts, and efficient processes to meet the needs of the agency. The result of this IT System Gap Analysis will address the appropriateness of these architectures and service functions.
