If your business has made the decision to transition to a fully managed environment, a critical success factor in successfully transitioning, migrating and operating infrastructures relies on expert level project management. From before the contract is even assigned, DYONYX will assign a specific Project Manager to your company to perform project and upgrade activities, ensure adherence to the SLAs and report on project budget, schedule, risks and performance measures. The PM will also act as an additional Quality Assurance check to validate operational quality reports, validate invoices and time entries for T&M activities and provide weekly and monthly status reports as agreed to in the SLA between DYONYX and your company.
The DYONYX Project Management Office (PMO) will oversee and govern all transition and on-going support activities. The DYONYX PMO is a multi-faceted, cross-cutting support function comprised of members from Service Delivery, Operations, Finance, Recruiting, Contracts and Sales. It operates within our Technical Account Management organization which is chartered with the mission to “ensure an exceptional customer experience through proactive communication, continuous collaboration and strict adherence to delivery schedules and customer budgets.” Due to the customer facing nature of the function, the DYONYX PMO reports directly to the DYONYX Senior Management Team.
The PMO’s foundation is rooted in the principles of the Carnegie Mellon Capabilities Maturity Model Integration Services (CMMI-SVC) Level 3 framework, the Project Management Institute’s (PMI’s) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) guidance and ITILv3 practices. Utilizing these best practice processes and guidance result in a highly accountable, continuously improving and uniquely consistent execution capability to handle engagements of any size, scale and complexity.

These tools include AtTask which provides project portfolio management and detailed requirements, schedule, risk, issues and cost management; Cherwell which provides core issue management for end-user issues; and Dynamics SL which captures time reporting related to specific tasks.
